Lithium battery winter maintenance precautions
The electrochemical reaction of lithium batteries at the electrode/electrolyte interface is related to the ambient temperature. At low temperatures, the viscosity of the electrolyte decreases. As the conductivity decreases, the activity of the active material also decreases. The concentration difference of the electrolyte will become larger, the polarization will be enhanced, and the diffusion rate of lithium ions in the negative electrode will be slower. Lithium is easily precipitated. As the temperature decreases, the reaction rate of the electrode also decreases. Assuming the battery voltage remains constant and the discharge current decreases, the power output of the battery also decreases.
In winter, the ambient temperature is low, and the equipment should be used or parked in the environment of 0-55℃ as much as possible (except those with heating function). Normal use.
It is recommended that customers charge the battery in a dry and ventilated environment. The plug may be oxidized in a humid environment, which will cause poor contact of the plug for a long time and affect the normal use of the product;
