Su Wei, National Development and Reform Commission: Comprehensively promote the large-scale development of solar power generation

Recently, Su Wei, deputy Secretary-General of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said at the 12th Green Development and Low-carbon Life Forum that carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a broad and profound economic and social transformation, which must be integrated into the overall layout of economic and social development and ecological progress.  We should accelerate the building of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, comprehensively promote the large-scale development of wind and solar power, improve the power grid's capacity to absorb and regulate a high proportion of renewable energy, and build a new type of power system dominated by new energy.
